Proverbial wisdom

Last night, November 3, I watched the election returns with a new found hope in my heart. Emily Dickenson said "Success is counted sweetest by those who ne'er succeed, to comprehend a nectar requires sorest need." Conservatives needed a win and the night did not disappoint.

Congratulations Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. And it came beautifully wrapped up in a three-tiered package of Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling and Ken Cuccinelli. When the race was called for Chris Christie I saw knew that New Jersians were tired of blue solutions. I saw Christie as offering a conservative solution that New Jersey residents were hungry for. They needed jobs more than empty promises. Seeing New Jersey turn red was a great way to start this holiday season.

The night showed us a path to winning- by pointing out how we can fix problems. It serves as an example as to how we will reclaim America, one state at a time. To the pundits who say this is not a foreshadowing of the conservative wins in the future I say read Proverbs 18:2

2 A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions.
